I think it's high time now that ER should think of increasing the quota of Durgapur and Asansol in Sealdah Rajdhani exp. Almost huge numbers of seats are getting booked from Sealdah and passengers are changing their Boarding point to Asansol and Durgapur to get a confirm berth in the train as both these stations have very low allocation of seats. The same thing is very much visible from the current availability status of this train between SDAH and these stations

Let me give u an example sir. This Holi I have a flight from Delhi to Kolkata by Air India. From Kolkata I would be either taking 13151 or 11448 upto kmme. As far as fare is concerned sir flight costed me 1683/-. Plus suppose 450 for 3A for 13151 or 11448. Total fare would be somewhat 2200/-. If I travel in 12302 or 12314 upto dhn the fare now is 2485/-. I am still saving 300/-. I am not considering cab fare as for travelling to ndls station or Airport the fare is same from my place.

And also you not considered the time you going to save using flight instead of paying 2485 with most of the time of your vacation u waste in the journey. If evenwith flight option you would spending 2500/2600 then also its worth i can say..

Sir my flight is in the morning at 8:50 and would reach Kolkata by 10:50. From there to hwh and from there 11448. I would be reaching kmme by 16:30. Even if I leave from Palam at 6:00 clock in the morning still I would complete my journey in less than 12 hrs.

I have just one wish as of now. Andal airport should be utilized to full extent with daily flights to dgr. This would cater asn, dhn, as well as dgr flights. Agar andal airport sahi see operate kare then the journey time would be reduced drastically to 5-6 hrs, time taken by train to cover ndls-cnb stretch

It's under udaan schreme now. Flights may can fly from andal from april or june again
And Asansol airport is also on the verge of completion. After its completes, i hope it will get some better treatment than the andal airport as it will be situated within the main city only
