Updating the rake type to match the that of 04402. The train uses a Self-generating LHB rake.
Nope. Almost 12 years old. There were a lot of disagreements here about the rake which people were insisting on calling a hybrid-LHB because it was self-generating. Someone posted the pics of the FIAT bogies and 04402 was updated as an LHB rake, somehow this one got missed.

does the SG equipment still work??? i remember reading a report on RCF's site stating they had numerous difficulties with SG rake.

It still works I guess as the rake does not have an EOG. I think two rakes were turned out, initially with WR and later with NR. The arrangement was not very successful as the MPS was only 105kmph, and it was costly too. That was when they stopped trying to add SG equipment to the FIAT bogies and started trials with LHB shells on ICF bogies. They carried over the same livery from the SG LHB coaches to the hybrid-LHB ones.
