DanielSebastian~ 4387 blog postsSince 12658 obviously gets very less time i.e 9 hrs for maintenance due to RSA with Karnataka SF and is rescheduled very frequently whenever 12628 is delayed, PM can be done for 12657 which arrives at Bengaluru. Then, there would be 14 hrs of PM and rescheduling wouldn't be an issue. 12658 can depart with Secondary Maintenance. If SWR follows this, it wouldn't incur losses from Cancellations whenever 12658 is rescheduled to depart at 05:00 AM in the morning.

So all these constraints arise due to the delaying of 12628. I think CR should start giving it a good priority after DD. I know this sounds very silly and a very routine story, but delaying trains like 12628 due to which so many complications can come into the picture and to run other trains on time seems very foolish. As per I know the DD-WADI stretch has a very good record in punctuality. I mean trains like Hussainsagar and HYB CSTM Exp are known for their punctuality. Again I don't know how much SCR is responsible for delaying this train. Finally, even SWR should give this train some preference.
