UBL division earnings in 2016-17, of the total Rs. 3,025.31 crore, Rs. 1,648.18 crore came from Ballari.
But nothing for that district in terms of passenger trains.

Today I read that EC is postponing the announcement of dates to mid-April to avoid disturbing the kids who will write Exams this month, as election announcement means more campaigning.
So mid-march to mid-april.
Any hope for trains in March. I don't know. Just a thin thread of hope :)

They don't run good trains at convinient times and now looking at footfalls and earnings to upgrade stations useless railways if they not going to run train serices how pax utilze them and hw stations footfalls increase without good service? Bagalkot have very less train services then too earning above 8 crore if they provide trains services it will earn still more same applied to Koppal bijapur Gadag Ballari Ranebennur Haveri Badami Stations..
From so many years Hampi express is the one daily exp running that too lot of delays now a days and full always so how ppl of koppal hospet ballari need to travel Bengaluru it's very pathetic condition as SWR can't look after these region ppl demands..They can divert KSK and Chsndigarh weekly once for Delhi connection that also not doing and they need to run one SF from Bijapur to SBC via hospet bay Cta..
I still can't understand some stations' new ratings. Ex: Why BGK is NSG 5 and S is NSG 4?

Even I can't understand Kengeri have more earnings and good footfalls also but it's not for upgrade. Same like Bijapur with 15 cr earning and hospet with 17 cr are in NSG-4 instead of NSG-3 at least and as u said BGK have more than 8cr earning with reasonable footfalls as per railways train service to station then too its in NSG-5 at least they could hv made it NSG-4 I doubt for these classifications for most of the stations except SBC YPR MYS UBL Mandya all other are some thing not correctly rated..BAY HPT they could hv upgraded same way DVG BJP ASK SMET GDG BGK also might be upgraded. All halt stations they showing upgrade now but don't know what they upgrade their except keeping some benches some small shelter 2 or 3 water tap that too only one working at last this will be upgrade.
