The South Western Railways has approached the Election Commission (EC) seeking permission to flag off new trains and inaugurate a slew of works.

So they can easily run still more trains especially daily express trains with single line presently on this route na as thier are not single daily express train Hospet-SBC ICE will be good Train intially later Bijapur-SBC SF/Exp can be run daily on this route.
Correction: It stays idle from Friday night to Sunday morning.
The proposed trains are having RSA (Sharavati for MYS-RU, SUR-YPR to Hassan, CDG Sampark Kranti for YPR-PVR and most likely YPR-LKO or YPR-BKN for YPR-UBL Weekly) and the primary idea of SWR is to make free space at YPR and MYS. They have also requested Election Commission to inaugurate the same. Hence, these will be introduced with or without elections.
It looks like these trains will start unofficially now and may get official announcement post elections.
