Connecting a city or a town with every other town or city is never possible in a country like India filled with branch lines.

Agree with you. I wish:
1) These trains have minimum stoppages.
2) Should stop only at stations of big district headquartes or operational importance.
3) For long-distant trains, 2A (one), 3A (min. three), SL (min. seven) and General coaches (min. seven). For those state capitals with distances (500kM - 1000KM), overnight trains should be there. For those state capitals with very short distance,...
