Indore Pune- a comparison.
By the time the Humsafar reaches Surat.
Bus will reach Pune from Indore.
Humsafar will probably reach Pune around 3 am (quite odd timing for this kind of train)

Still it's really perfect time table even if it takes 30 hours and reaches early morning 5am at Lingampalli, it's quite manageable.
Right now Morning departure means a day wasted, odd timings at Pune means less no. of people will prefer this as overnight even from Surat. And it's not making sense as an Intercity between Indore and Surat. For this type of train this is definitely NOT GOOD, especially in lean period.
Right now it isn't making any sense for either ending stations or intermediate stations.

this train is super duper flop not beneficial for a single passenger
