agreed,a chain must be cheap with appropriate buffer...but,when you have cheaper,easily available,feasible options then in no way i would like to pay for more...but say if you can save 12-14 hours waiting for a connecting train,then its not worth it...thats why i said let the chain maker defend it why he has gone for a costlier/high buffer train...say i reach a station at 9pm..the only train available is rajdhani at 11pm...after that the next train is at say 6am...so i will prefer the costlier option if i can affiord it...
