End of an era! 139 yrs old Dabhoi-Chandod Narrow Gauge section of vadodara division has been closed from today ie 24th May, 2018 due to the work of its gauge conversion into Broad Gauge.
Dabhoi-Chandod NG section was part of Gaikwad Baroda State Railway, one of the early NG sections in Asia. It was commissioned on 15th April, 1879. The NG train was very popular among locals who fondly called it as Bapu Gaadi #Heritage now it will be converted into Broad Gauge

गायकवाड बड़ौदा स्टेट रेलवे द्वारा मियागाम-डभोई नैरोगेज लाइन 08.04.1873 में बनी। इसके बाद डभोई-चांदोद सेक्शन में नैरोगेज लाइन 15.04.1879 में शुरू की गई । इस सेक्शन की बापू गाड़ी के नाम से मशहूर 139 साल सेवा करने के बाद आज चांदोद से डभोई के बीच कीअंतिम ट्रिप इतिहास बन गई।
