If new zonal railway formation at Visakhapatnam is not possible now, then demand SCR,headquarters has to be shifted from Secundrabad to Vijayawada.
Telengana state has only 2 divisions such as Secundrabad and Hyderabad with 1737 km railway line.
But Andhra Pradesh has 4Railway divisions such as in SCR 3 nos 1) Vijayawada, 2) Gundur and 3) Gundakkal with 3703 km railway lines.ie AP has more than 2times of railway line over the Telengana. So shifting of SCR headquarters to Vijayawada is justified.
