I've observed that ED has very minimal activity when 12677/78 occupies PF for loco change.. still feel eloco is back.. anyways if not then couple more years for end to end eloco.. wish that happens soon
Well with reg to delay reduction part , eloco can reduce the extra delay so that doesn't make any difference at all. Eg: 12008 easily covers mys sbc in 10 less min compared to dloco
Earlier there was a time when the train used to reach Bangalore right on time around 8pm. But no longer. The run between Salem & Bangalore is extremely poor. On an average 1 hour delayed arrival at SBC has become routine now.
From 20-July till 25-July, except for one day when it was late by 25 minutes, on all other days was delayed by one hour reaching SBC.

This train could have been given P7. I feel that on double electrified lines, many trains should be switched over to P7. That will save fuel and time.
