Even though it is positive news that JNPT is signing MOU.
following point must be taken into account
1.JNPT Dadri WDFC is also under construction and will be completed in next 2 years its alignment will pass through surat Vadodara From there freight traffic can take Dhar NL route to reach Pithampur.

2.Manmad JNPT is highly congested route with several passenger trains.once Indore Manmad addition traffic is put into it it will further congest it.
so it is better that Indore Mammad is used for mixed traffic( normal goods and passenger-it will take another 10 years) and DFC route is used for container traffic,to decongest the MMR JNPT route.
MMR INDB will provide alternate route between Bhopal and Mammad with around 600 km distance IN ADDITION TO EXISTING ROUTE.
