actually they decided to get rid of them that's it..
few years ago they said -- IR has decided to remove curtains from 3A as report said those curtains in 3A are actually prone to catch fire.. so its for pas safety..
thats absurd logic-- IR has AB1 coaches too and those has cutrains in 2A segment and no cutains in 3A segment..

Hamsafar has fire alarm installed even in toilts and after few months of run i've heard that HS also has no curtains now.. fire alarm hai to curtains kyu hataya??
removing curtains from 3A was just in a step for cost cutting .. fire se koi lena dena nahin tha.. and
