To resolve issue of Chandigarh Tejas, i think teh following can be done.
1. Run Chandigarh Tejas from ASR to NDLS via CDG following timings

that is where extension to Rewari will be boon.. Rewari does not have any airport.. so ppl will depend on surface transport
yes, maybe but not possible at the moment because no pitline/washing line at gurgaon/rewari
GGN certainly deserves better rail connectivity.
But the problem is d newer GGN is NOT well connected to GGN rly stn rather newer GGN has excellent connectivity to Delhi via e-way.

Sumtimes I feel, d proposed new terminal for Delhi i.e. Bijwasan(BWSN) cud b have boon for GGN.

Rewari is more of a Railway town with sluggish economy , a morning train to the capital will be more beneficial from here than an evening Shatabdi.
Gurgaon deserves this Shatabdi extension but then it should be extended to Jaipur with better timmings to serve many purposes.
Those who think this Shatabdi is waste , i pitty on the way they are looking at. This Shatabdi is a Hit for NCR passengers towards CDG, despite being trailing KLK Shatabdi it gets 50% + (better than Kanpur Shatabdi, LDH shatabdi, KGM shatabdi)...

12045 gets very good patronage due to late evening departure which is convenient for salaried class.
12046 acts as a connection to the evening Rajdhanis from NDLS. If it doesn't touch NDLS, it will run virtually empty.
