Tumakuru - Gubbi is the target for this year.

After TK station, immediately new line is being laid on the right as said before in an another post.
The new line is laid for some distance, then gaps and again laid intermittently.
Some places ballast in spread with sleepers, some places nothing - just the old status of land being levelled and left. One or two places minor bridges are yet to be constructed.

Some stations new PFs are built but the line is yet to be laid.
Some stations, as I will post in subsequent blogs, the new PF is being used and the old PF's line is uprooted in total and new line is being laid, and the new is being used now.
Guess new PF lines being considered as loops doesn't need CRS.
No signs of signals.

I doubt if this year's target will be met.

JRU - THN target was last year, then now it's this Sep.

From JRU onwards everywhere work is on, but it wont be completed anytime soon.
At MYK major station modifications is on.

KAG the new PF line is being used and the old one is totally removed.
At THN PF2 is made into an island PF.

THN - HRR is also for this year, but surely it will not be completed. The biggest hurdle is the bridge over Thungabhadra, where even pillars are not ready.

At DVG the bottleneck towards UBL needs to be sorted out to lay another track. Also I saw that the cabin has the old type lever type of track switching.
Just some ROB is under construction.

Was surprised to see the new line towards KTY having a speed of 80!

Pics 30, 31 - I noticed a new station just recently - - KMPS. It turned out be just a small station from where an industry line deviates.

The pillar construction is completed for the bridge over Varada river.

Yalavigi has still the old British era station building.
