Not really. Purulia has a population of 1,21,436 as per Purulia Municipalty website. 3 dedicated trains are enough for such population. Bankura is a slightly bigger city than Purulia with 1.37 lakh people and also needs some trains to serve it's population. Trains of Adra actually serves that purpose
