Not like that there was a huge demand to run a weekend train from tvc to Bangalore.
That is because it is festive season. YPR KCVL Garibrath runs with 10 seat occupancy per coach in non-festive season, let alone Humsafar.
But since this one runs on a Friday, we can expect atleast some amount of bookings.. See the Oct 26 booking.. 591 remaining.. That week would be just a normal weekend, not an extended one. Lets wait.
This train has got 12 third AC coaches which would mean approx 840 seats ( assuming 70 seats per coach). I think considering it is fully AC, railways should be reasonably happy if it has got 75%-80% occupancy. This could be probably even more if it is a Friday departure from Bangalore.
As of now it can be seen that bookings for 21-Dec is already into RAC.
At least better than some of the other AC express which is running between YPR-KCVL which runs more or less vacant for most parts of the...
