Under the directive of Govt. of West Bengal and MLAs, SER is planning a train from Digha connecting all tourism places of South Bengal. Almost all the major tourism spots fall under Adra-Kharagpur section. A superfast will suffice the need. All the tourism geeks are likely to avail the service. From Digha sea shore to Panchkot-JoychandiPahar through the artistic Bishnupur, all will be covered by a single train. More detailed report is yet to receive initialisation.

The major problem of SER specially KGP Div, CKP Div is huge shortage of Rakes....
LHB SL Coaches - very few spare coaches available with SRC.
ICF SL Coaches - Huge shortage now. Very few spare coaches available with SRC and CKP...around 20-30 ICF SL coaches which r now attaches to various trains of kgp , ckp division is also going to expire this year 2018...but replacement not available till now.
