actually it is a combination of both sleeper and sitting reserved coach
the seats in the image above are for sitting reserved and the berths are for sleeping
if 2S is full then sleeper ticket holders have to remain in the berths above only and cannot sit as the seats are for reserved passengers

this is a narrow gauge train.so i think the SL coach is different.
