Travelled on ERS-LTT on 18th April 2012 and found the journey to be extremely pleasant with good food and service. However the train did halt at Shornor, Madgaon, Ratnagiri, Panvel as well a couple of other stations to give way to other trains. If the railways want to keep the Duronto as Super fast non-stop train then they should avoid these intermediate stops for passing trains. In this way this train can reach LTT 2-3 hours before its scheduled time. However today it reached 1.18 hrs late.
thanks for your feedback.madgaon and ratnagiri are the technical halts of this train so the train has to stop there.well as you said that the train stopped for allowing other trains to pass,thats bcoz the train takes the konkan route and konkan is a single line route with a lot of traffic.so the train has to stop and allow the other train to pass.
