Even as the ones planned at Howrah and Sealdah railway stations are hanging fire, Asansol railway station today got a premium lounge for the passengers to relax while waiting for a train.
Union minister and Asansol BJP MP, Babul Supriyo, today inaugurated the premium lounge spread over an area of 200 square metres. The fully air-conditioned lounge has been set up at a cost of Rs 24 lakhs, Eastern Railway said.

May be he is unware of it, it was already functional before Diwali only. I have already used it once while taking Shabd bhedi exp
May be they are overcharging in that case but i had to pay 35 only and not 30 for 1hr stay in this lounge
Even when i used the lounge at jsme while waiting for 18184 i paid Rs. 30 only
That why i told, may be they are overcharging. Infact in the old hours, if you use the paid toilets in the station premise, they will charge as much as RS 10 while in normal time, it cost you only Re 2
