today my brother was charged Rs-30 /- per person for 06 person in a single ticket.

Reservation charge varies depending on distance and travel class. Please give details about the train, journey leg, and class of travel and whether any concession was availed of.

i had gone to the faq sec of this site and make my clarified that if i booked sleeper class reservation from station other than train originate station , i have to pay rs-30, instead of rs-20 normally

So if we have to book more than 2 tickets from the non originating station then its better to go for irctc. As irctc will charge Rs10 and the bank will take Rs10. per transaction.
