Coach No A1 of 12311 hwh kalka mail is detached at chandigarh.I am booked in A1 for 18/5 How do I get to Kalka?

ONE 2A and 3A and 5 SL Coaches alongwith PC and 1 GN and SLR Coach are detached at CDG.

I have travelled in this train from CDG to HWH in 2009 June and had B1 booked from CDG to HWH.

In response to your query I tried contacting the Station Masters at both Chandigarh and Kalka Rly stations to get first-hand information in the matter. But sadly as usual there was no response. It appeared to me that these 2 stations were closed for the summer vacations. However some of our more learned admins have confirmed that your coach will be axed at Chandigarh. If you still wish to proceed to Kalka, hop on to another Kalka bound coach with the prior permission of the TTE and due extension of your ticket(s) upto Kalka, on payment of excess fare without the benefit of telescopic fare.
