Tvc has daily intercity trains in Tvc-ers,srr,clt,can..... But there is no train in Tvc-pgt section..... A daily interity(even if a JS) is required in this section. The two division HQ's is not connected by an independent train....
In the old slot of 16526, a train is badly needed at present from Pgt to Tvc.... Many office goers and other people depend upon Kerala exp and trains like rapti, korba-tvc, ahilyanagari, sabari in the morning and also the memu which is more uncomfortable to them as they run in punctual in occasionally...... So a train is utter inportant in the morning time to TVC..... It can be a Intercity or Janshatabdi..... The only lone independent train of Pgt-Amrita exp was extended and there
is no independent train from Pgt to Tvc...... So a daily train in this section is much needed... It would have enough or above patronage....

I guess the biggest issue is the congestion between ERS-TVC. A superfast train like kerala express has been alotted almost 6 hours between ERN-TVC despite saving time on engine reversal. Getting path in this route seems difficult. Instead of TVC maybe they should look at ERS
From PGT towards ERS, after Palaruvi express, there is no train till night 10pm. A train in the evening till ERS ( SA-ERS intercity) around 6pm will really help. This was proposed many times as only one rake is required and path is relatively free as well
