Is Telescopic Fare benefit still available or stopped by IR? I mean I was planning to go to PRS and book a ticket from COR to YPR via BPL by 19711 & 12650

Okay. So if I take sleeper class and then upgrade to 3A or 2A, on paying the difference amount, will I save some money or not?
Oh okay. Thanks for the reply. So booking on irctc - on a point to point basis is the best and the only option for 3A or upper classes.
Yes, instead of uncertainity of getting seats in upgradation, better to book point to point in preferred class. And in any case you will be paying same either point to point or booking telescopic in SL and then upgrading. So why not have confirm ticket of upper class at the beginning only.
