Don't know if Signalling equipments are newly installed or Painted. UK MP, comes under his constituency. As I have said earlier, MLA of this region is also Strong & Senior Politician, getting elected continously for 3-4 terms, So also his responsibility to push. When DVS was RM (2014), He announced Dharwad - Dandeli Passenger, which is still on Paper.
Just looks like a routine overhaul of the signalling system. Nothing new.
This line will stay as is. It was supposed to be taken over by the Paper mills, as an industrial siding, but the agreement only stayed on paper and IR still looks after the line. UBL division wanted to shut down Ambewadi station, but the station has been retained on a plea from the Paper mills as they do not have sufficient sidings to hold freight rakes.

why do railways go so soft on these folks??? isn't this like a form of assisted sidings, which railways discontinued long time back??
