Friends, probably you all know that there is a concept called 'Monsoon TT' at Konkan Railway (implemented after the tragic Matsyagandha accident in 2004). During the months of June to October all the trains running on Konkan get considerably slower for safety purpose (75 KM/H top speed AFAIK).
Do you think similarly there should be another concept called 'Winter TT' at those area of our country which get heavily affected by fog during The months of December to February?

100% agree, but I have one point to say. Actually passengers are worst sufferers of these huge winter delays. 8-10 hrs delays are quite normal. Due to this, often trains run out of water, become dirty. Also passengers don't get proper food as well (Mainly in premium trains like Rajdhani, Duronto etc., When the train delays, passengers are not served extra mill- max to max cakes, chips, sweets etc are given).
