On any route in IR if we compare AC Class fares (1A, 2A, 3A, EC, CC etc) with Non-AC Class fares (SL, 2S, GS etc), we will see that the difference is huge, average AC fare is 5-6 times higher than average Non-AC fare. If we take Premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto etc into consideration, this ratio then goes up to 7-8 times.
So what do you think, AC fares are overpriced or Non-AC fares are underpriced?

Yes... Absolutely... But one thing is sure... By looking this abysmal fare difference, I feel IR should try to increase fare in 2nd class travelling and sleepers as well in the next budget...
