I read in previous news that all trains running through BYPL will continue to stop at the station even if they are extended to new Baiyyappanahalli terminal. If this happens railway station and metro integration will continue as same in future

Yes, but the new terminal becoming a hit or miss depends on its access to public transport. Everybody concerned with developing the facilities will be aware of the constraints at existing BYPL station and how halting more trains will disrupt the flow of traffic. BYPL will be also congested from suburban services in near future.
That is why the new terminal should be designed with proper connection to the Metro.

And in recent times, railways seem to be more and more inclined in leasing out land space in Chennai, Bangalore etc. to developers, so there's this question of vested interests pushing their agenda as well.
Ideally, BYPL terminal should be developed on the lines of YPR or should be built as a dedicated coaching depot with more pit lines while originating trains can be accommodated along the present network like Cantonment, Banaswadi, KR Puram, Yelhanka etc.

Yes, new terminal must be easily accessible by public transport viz., BMTC city buses, Bengaluru metro. We will have to wait and see how they will plan for other modes of public transport

Great move by SWR finally. Unlike other metros, there is no doubt that current infra in SBC and YPR is insuffficient. New terminal should be made y accessible by public transport BMTC , Bengaluru metro etc.
And hoping that they have sufficient space etc for future expansion as well
