Hi,
If a connecting train is missed due to the very late arrival of the first train, what are the options for the passengers holding a confirmed e-ticket for the connecting train?
Is there an option for refund or being rebooked on another train, especially when all the later trains on the said route are heavily booked and waitlisted?

U have to contact station incharge in the case & if he permits, u can board other train leaving towards ur destination!!
For cancellation of E-Ticket, u have to file TDR, after 24 hrs of train's departure!!

i'll tell u 1 incident....once i was supposed to catch jhelum to pune from jhansi....and i wished to travel from kanpur to jhansi by raptisagar express(scheduled at 1650 hours at jhansi and jhelum scheduled at 1720 hours(dep))....but raptisagar got 2 hours late...addingto my miseries and arrived jhansi at 1800 hours....i thought i missed jhelum...but saw jhelum was just to depart from pf no.4..(raptisagar arrived on pf no.1)...but still i was unable to catch jhelum....and few minutes later even missed raptisagar....and hell....broke down...i started wandering here and there what to do...and then i contacted station master of what can i do...if i wished i could cancel my ticket, ,,at that time he told me...catch kerela express...it overtake jhelum and raptisagar on or before bhopal/itarsi....and i dint waited 4 a minute and boareded kerela exp.....tte came to luk 4 tickets...at that time i told him my incident...thankfull tte was gud charged only 50...
