Actually its very easy to board the train within 2 minutes.. Like Shatabdis halt for only 2 3 mints and people be it kids or senior citizens are easily able to board.
I think that you have travelled only in shatabadi and Rajdhani but not in any express train. That's why you are talking such. Have you thought how many people will die in mishaps of running over in hurry to board or deboard the train. One of the worst and disgusting decisions if implemented and will be very dangerous move
