Great news..However, only 27 kms plane stretch of HW-Laskar is taking un-ending time to complete..HW-Raiwala ( 11 kms) should be doubled with priority & it may take 2 years from now..
Raiwala-DDN ( 40 kms ) Doubling & electrification may take another 5 years to complete , if planning & work starts now...

I personally don't think it is required considering the rail traffic on that route and the national park region which not only have animal movement but prevents nature biodiversity also.
Instead they should complete Laksar haridwar doubling asap and this is not required at the moment.

This region in prevailed by elephants and the forest is so dense that it would require many trees to be downed.
Even in Dehradun city, there is very less space around the track.
I think this proposal should be dropped because it is a very costly deal and and it would harm biodiversity.
