This video shows the pathetic condition of the General coaches of this train. This train and it's passengers are the victims of gross negligence of Railways towards normal Mail/Express trains.
This train is the only one from HWH to BAY, HPT, UBL, and Goa running only 4 times a week and that too with just 16 coaches in such important route. Main obstruction is the 26 kms Braganza Ghat stretch in CLR QLM section where restrictions all kinds of restrictions are imposed on passenger trains be it their frequency or coach composition but they run freights without any restrictions.

problem is the slip which runs with this train for only about 450 kms from GTL to VSG out of the total 2120 kms it travels. Why should majority of the passengers suffer only because of the slip which runs with this train for not even 25% of it's entire journey ?
Why can't RB and SWR eliminate the hurdles in the Ghats and allow 24 coaches trains ?
Already equally steep Ghats in CR run multiple 24 coach trains with ease.
And to add to the troubles it always runs 2 to 4 hours late on an average increasing the sufferings of it's passengers. It either starts HWH late compounding the delay or ECoR and SCoR purposefully trolls it by not giving priority.
