We all know The primary Maintenance is done when the rake reaches 3500 Km or 96 hours whichever comes first
But What about Trains Like Ypr-Kamahya exp which travel 3000+ Kms. And going back to it's Pm location makes it 6000+ Kms. Or The Sbc-Hwh 4000km total run..

This is a useful document. One thing which probably has changed or rather been added is the bio-toilets. Apparently in many cases the complete cleaning and discharge is only done in the station in which PM happens. This really causes lots of issues in those long dist trains which have a shorter layover period at destination. Basic cleaning happens, but if toilets etc are clogged not much can be done. This is something railways need to keep note of. Few eg that i have seen : DHN-Allp, LTT-CBE, HWH-MAS mail which returns within 3-4 hrs a Coromandel exp and many other trains
