Bypass lines are same as a ring roads... Like how ring road runs around the city and you can use them to not enter the city traffic and quicky bypass it, the same way the bypass line works as this particular Daund Bypass line will bypass Daund Jn. and will help avoid loco reversal for trains going towards Pune from Manmad and vice versa...

Not much ground work done may be due to heavy rain in Maharastra work got delayed but can see electrification work in progress
