This train lost the priority it once had. Neither NR nor RB is interested in this train anymore.
BTW your suggestion is very good. I also had the same thought, and I just tweeted it to RM and PMO cz i have 0 hope from Railway Board and NR,WCR officials. So i directly send it to RM hoping that he may consider this under Mission Raftaar on which he is focusing currently so that he may instruct RB about it.

They are planning to give T-18 rake. But production of T-18 coaches are stopped as Reliance with nil experience in coach manufacturing wanted to get those lucrative contracts away from established players like Alstom, GE, Hitachi etc. in the name of transparency of tender process.
