Finally Spl train for Ganesh festival. Mysuru - Vijayapura special train via SBC,ASK,CTA,BAY ,HPT ,KBL,GDG ,BGK Dep Majestic at 3:45pm on Friday arrives Ballari at 2:00am &Hospet at 4am Saturday.Return Dep Hospet at 11:30pm on Monday& Ballari at 1am (tue) arrives majestic at 9:30am on Tuesday. this train will reduce the load on both HAMPI & GG express trains..

Still around 600 seats (597 to be precise) in SL class is available. If the announcement about the special was made in advance, the response would have been much encouraging. Many passengers going hometown for Ganesha Festival might have made alternate arrangements like bus. Can't say, last moment rush may be there from Bengaluru for this train.
