So it is adding up right? Yes, they could increase the capacity of the 2S compartments to take of the WL. But look at it from KR point of view, they may think there is no extra revenue as these people would travel in the General compartments.
the S7/S8/S9/S10 of the konkan kanya are the D1/D2/D3/D4 of the mandovi.sleeper coaches are used as second seating coaches.the capacity of a second seating coach is 90.in a compartment there is total seating of 10(4 on one side 4 on other and 2 are side).the upper berth are occupied by the wl passengers.also in this coaches u'll find two seat no. markings,one is for the sleeper(konkan kanya) other for second seating(mandovi).
So broad gauge was correct once again about the seat numbering. Congrats to him
