How did you get 15 trains to Mumbai? There are only 3 trains but only one is exclusive Bangalore Mumbai. What you are seeing in time table are passing through trains which do not touch Bangalore or Mumbai or both cities and with no seats quota for SBC Mumbai pax. Surprisingly all three trains are run by central railway. Nothing by SWR!.

Udyan is the only dedicated train. Coimbatore exp touches sbc. Most of the trains pass through kalyan. A dedicated train via dvg, ubl,bgm,Pune is required.
On practical aspects, udyan is a crawler and from Mumbai side, wastes two mornings. CBE to LTT is ok, but wastes two days from SBC side. Chalukya no proper quota for Bangalore.
Why Chalukya should waste 3 hours in a heavy traffic Bangalore (YPR)? If the Puducherry Tirunelveli portion is cancelled, then it can reach YPR by 7:30 PM from Dadar. Similarly it can start from YPR by around 8:30 and still can reach Dadar by morning 6.
To compensate for Puducherry Tirunelveli, SWR can run triweekly from YPR starting...

Earlier chalukya train used to terminate at Ypr for some reason they have been extended upto Puducherry/Tirunelveli. May be CR extended it as the rake belongs to them. It should speeded up in both directions.
