This shows attitude of people. They are ready to bribe TC/TTE. Consider if the bribe multiplies per TC over a journey of over 36 hours. IR did and that is the reason we have Special fare trains on flexi fare.

Secr ek aisa zone hai Jo special chalana to door ki baat hai apne regular trains bhi nahi chala pata..on an average daily 2-3 passenger trains cancel rehta hai...aur kuch local trains jaise rig-bsp, tata-bsp, jsg-g saal me 2-3 months cancel rehta hai. Upar se baki kasar lhbfication ke baad ghatte GS coaches ne poora kar diya hai.

That's true. In Dongargarh-Raigarh stretch, at least 3 trains mostly MEMUs stay cancelled everyday. Is it because of lack of maintenance facility? IMO, They should accommodate MEMU rakes at the BIA ELS. Plus there are many infra works, like third line linking, FOBs, ROBs, underpasses, etc. for which blocks are being taken due to which slow trains like passengers are cancelled. BTW, SECR has done a commendable job of raising heights of most of platforms for MEMUs.
No, not due to rake maintenance. Bia shed already having sufficient capacity for memu maintenance. Its due to sectional track maintenance/capacity enhancement work continuously going on due to heavy freight load. Jsg-bsp section is the most disturbed of all
