Smartcat 36 blog postsAjanta lost all its glory after RSA with falaknuma,one should see worst rusted coaches in these rakes especially the sleeper coaches,now this is my last priority for snsi bound,coaches are worst to compare with ecor vskp:(,i dont know why sc railfans are so mum about this,didnt u see the rakes recently???,or a blind eye

Not very sure about Sleeper coaches. But,Even AC coaches are in worst condition. Water leakage in one of the rakes of falaknuma
Yes once upon a time it use to run with clean and green coaches excellent maintenance but once after getting RSA train lost it glory. earlier it use to have a dedicated rake which is super neat like visakha SL coaches but now pathetic even AC coaches are worst. This one is also added to list like tirumala struggling after RSA happend. Falkan is the main culprit it comes late mostly and i think either Ajanta rake or falkan rake which ever comes first will go for CDO for maintenance and will run for Falkan. if either of the rake is running late then it will delayed for maintenance as they will give priority for Intercity trains and Visakha and Falkan and narayandri and Padmavathi and other trains which are in bucket list and this train is avoided or not cleaning properly.

Travellers will not move to another train though timings are changed or maintainance is upto mark as they don't have alternate to ajantha and second being the cheapest mode of transport especially sleeper they don't have any mode of transport. Moreover the train travellers are habituated to train and they don't like to travel by bus and the age group is more then 30yrs and being tourist and pilgrimage connection travellers travel with elders and children they cannot opt for bus.
boss return timings will surely effect this train. sc side nundi np from NSL it will badly impact. passengers might opt for other trains which comes 7pm such that they can reach NSL. SNSI trains are different i am not talking about them
Falaknuma takes one or the other train down with it because of lesser slack time. Shifting PM to SRC can solve problems but Falaknuma travellers should be prepared for the worst in this case. You should see the horrific maintenance of East Coast Express.
