In my opinion all WAM-4 s should transfer for newly electrifying stations for immediate run of E-Locos instead scrapping them. THEY ARE THE BEST OF BEST IN OUR INDIAN RAILWAYS FOREVER.WAPs are trash and some time they dead on route very easily. i saw so wany WAP-7 and WAP-4 dead locos rescued by other locos. but not WAM's

I don't why india plans for destroying all things which served indian railways for more than 50 years
They are scrapping all wams
They are converted all diesel line
In point of you atleast a 500kms of diesel tracks should leave as it is as heritage lines
