Very Sad, Railway should suspend running of Train in winter by 01 day or maximum 03 days a week. All days suspend in a week is very bad decision.
Why cancel trains, rather the IR should invest on systems that enables safe operations even in ZERO visibility . Something like CATIIIB Airports. I think there is a solution for this and few divisions are already using it. Trains should not rely on visual capabilities of the Loco Pilot alone. As the speed of trains are increasing, visual references will keep getting less and and less reliable and even dangerous. Trains should be equipped with some kind of Radar or LIDAR based systems.
