Agreed But it will have its own Advantages too, because even via Solapur-Daund will take the approximately same time as via UBL-MRJ-KWV (till the entire SUR-DD Stretch is doubled)

PVR plus MRJ-PVR-KWV section will get connectivity to Delhi
Also, Pune-MRJ_UBL is under Doubling and Electrification, So I don't think it will matter much, as anyways currently public is going to UBL to Catch YPR SK from UBL.
It can start by having RSA with BJP YPR Special
