Brilliant click. I was wondering a few days back, even with the RSA arrangement of this train, why did SER did not make it a MEMU?
May be because of NYGT pass. But personally I don't wanna it to be converted into MEMU😅
Actually I also do not support the rapid conversion of conventional passengers to MEMU. But this just came as a thought.
KGP-TATA Pgr and KGP-HTE Pgr will not be converted to MEMU because these rakes is used to transfer ICF coaches of TATA CDO and HTE CDO to KGP Workshop for POH , also Railway coach wheels and other spares parts r sent from KGP Workshop to TATA, HTE CDO. ICF coaches r attached to this rake and sent to KGPW for POH and returned back.
