URGENT:: I booked the e-ticket for my father and me, but due to certain reasons my father is unable to accompany me, instead my friend is willing, so on the name of my father, can I take my friend with me, as I can produce my ID with the ticket?? Please help

buy separate ticket or accomodate dad on ur seat other means totally illegal
Transfer of ticket(change in name) is possible only within blood relatives,not for friends /faq/post/1082
You may be correct.But transfer of tickets also take place for school students.But they are not blood relative at all
I agree you sir.His situation is bit complex.He maymeet CRS(it is upto him.May not necessarily be helpful in this case.just one of the choice).perhaps he can help him provided there is provision.
