Sure. What I last heard was this group will get LHB, e-to-e electric locos and speed up. Of course this involves little change in route, termini and RSA. It will come up whenever this group restarts ops.

Only between gtl to klu (in ghats) and makalidurga curves are more rest of the route is straight with less curves and few years back route was trials were made at 125 kmph so after doubling they might increase mps to 130 kmph but at present all trains are restricted to 110 kmph between sbc to klu, 110 kmph between klu to gy and 100 kmph between klu to gtl. In fact GTL SBC line is having less steep gradients and curves compared to GTL RU line
Mps of Pune lonavala is 110 kmph and 105 kmph between karjat to csmt and Pune Lonavala can be upgraded to 130 kmph
As per DRM pune work is going start from August 2020
They will use R260 tracks for Pune Lonavala route
