Yes. This is a circuitous route. Instead, of Belgaum to HYB via Solapur is started, it will link Kalaburgi also.
My suggestion would be: KOP HYB triweekly Via Solapur, triweekly via KWV, BIDR. Another set of triweekly from Belgaum to HYB in both the routes. Thereby, Kolhapur and Belgaum get 6 day train to HYB as well as Belgaum get triweekly connection to Kalaburgi and Bidar. But SWR, CR, SCR coordination would make it difficult. Let us hope. That's all we can do.

Looks difficult, can get new Duranto or HS or SK via Klbg-Bidr-Ak
Duronto and SK are closed cases. No new trains.
