It will be third Terminal in future already some Waltair officials explored Simhachalam north.

After Converting Marripalem Marshalling yard into Terminal point still so much land is available already Railway's built standing lines at Naval quarters side.
I guess both will be balanced too many generation behind loco's can become burden for Railway's in future.
if at all its feasible to develop Simhachalam North, its enough and sufficient (for atleast two decades) to develop it as second terminal instead of marripalem. originating trains can start at vskp and majority of bypassing trains can halt at simhachalam north.
For now it's not possible because Simhachalam North is interchange point for Freight trains between DVD- VSKP- KTV.
