Terminal shift ke baare mein abhi filal kuch keh nahi sakte but agar reversals hatane ka bolne se HWH ke bohut se train ke reversal hatakar congestion kam karna cha rahe hain. It is good that Bhattanagar-Dankuni route is getting patronage for passenger train earlier AFAIK it was only used by goods, Sealdah Puri Duronto and Kamkhya Secunderabad Special.

though off this topic, I have never seen SER proposing increase in frequency for 18047 in Any of the irttc meetings, though it runs packed all through the year . are you aware of any reaosns behind that? or am i wrong.

If people raises for demand then Railway can get focus on it. Since this 18047/48 runs 4 days in a week and runs with full patronage. I have heard that it has slot problem and secondly people's poor response to raise demand to run this train daily. If people would demanded for Another Goa train then congestion for 18047/48 would reduce.
Even if you see SCR is not willing to delink its slip coach. Dont know the exact reasons since it could increase the frequency of HYB-VSG Express from Weekly to atleast daily. So that slip coach also gets delinked.

Another GOA train is required and it must go via BSP-NGP, there will be many new connectivity, none of the places between KGP and NGP are connected to GOA.

If they want they can run it will be good if they run via BSP-NGP-BZA-GNT-GTL route. Because between GTL-UBL-VSG route it runs with full patronage so if another train gets run on GTL-UBL-VSG route then congestion of existing HWH-VSG Exp via UBL-HPT-BAY-GTL-GNT-BZA-KGP can be reduced.
